We understand that you would appreciate it if your patients were seen as soon as possible. As such, we keep some urgent appointments to ensure that we can accommodate new patients.
We understand that giving bad news to a patient is difficult for both the patient and their doctor. Dr Sally Meade triages all referrals to ensure new patients are seen expeditiously and appropriately to the problem’s urgency.
Our reception team will ask for your referral and copies of histopathology, imaging and any other helpful information to be faxed/emailed/posted to enable us to triage the patient accurately. This also allows Dr Meade to plan with booking further imaging, biopsies or surgical procedures.
If you want to discuss a patient with Dr Meade, please get in touch with the practice. We are always happy to facilitate this and will try to return your call as soon as possible. Dr Meade is also very happy to speak with you on her mobile phone directly anytime for advice if required.

Dr. Sally Meade is a General Surgeon with post-fellowship training and a particular interest in Breast and Endocrine Surgery. With more than 20 years of experience, her extensive training has provided her with the skills to offer a comprehensive service to her patients.
Dr Meade was born in Ingham and grew up in Charters Towers. In 1993, she was awarded her medical degree from the University of Queensland. She completed her surgical training largely in Queensland but also in the Northern Territory and Victoria, which included time in Townsville, Mackay, Darwin, and Geelong.
